About Me

My baby sister K and I on a family trip.

-Macktivity-
Hi there! I'm Mack. With this blog, I hope to share my creative projects, ideas, and honest insight into little bits of my life.

I approach crafts with a straightforward attitude, and am willing to try any creative project at least once. I hope to share tips, tricks, and other little pieces of artistic advice that I discover with each project I attempt! I'm overflowing with half-developed ideas for wedding planning, home decor, art projects, etc., and I love the idea of sharing them here with you all.

On this page, I plan to post about craft projects, wedding planning, cooking experiences, and occasional snippets of my perspective towards life. I seek to be honest, transparent, and friendly at all times. I'm doing my best to enjoy life at the highest degree, and hope to share that joy with everyone!

Justin and I celebrating the 4th of July.

-Personal Info-
I'm a 23-year old recent college graduate, finishing in 2016 with a B.S. in Psychology. At the moment I work as a case manager for foster families at a nonprofit in Washington state. It might not be what I want to do for the rest of my life, but I am loving the opportunities it has provided for me in the time being. For now, I'm saving to go back to school and enjoying the blessing that is the post-grad life!

In July of this year, I got engaged to my favorite person in the world, Justin. He's currently serving in the U.S. Navy, and I couldn't be luckier to have found him. Together we've been through a lot, including a six-month deployment that was not my favorite thing!! He leaves again in March 2018 for another three months, but it will be much easier this time, especially with the new addition of our corgi puppy, Scout! We will be getting married in August of next year, and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with my best friend.

Please feel free to start up a conversation with me! Any advice you can give about wedding planning, pursuing your career goals, or being a Navy wife are very welcome! I love to network and look forward to using this as an opportunity to meet more wonderful people.
